Academy award winning actor Philip Seymour Hoffman found dead in his Manhattan apartment, according to NYC police. He was 46.

According to further details; Hoffman's body was discovered by one of his personal assistants at about 11:35 am Sunday in the bathroom of his apartment. Apparently the cause of the death is drug overdose as his body was found with a hypodermic needle still in his arm.

The autopsy of the Fast & Furious star, Paul Walker, is delayed by the authorities citing that the body is unidentifiable; while the identity of the other occupant is revealed by police.

The 40-year-old Paul Walker was reportedly killed in a fiery car crash Saturday evening in the community of Valencia when he was returning with his friend/business partner Roger Rodas, 38, from a charity event in Santa Clarita, CA earlier in the day. 

According to eyewitnesses; Paul was driving the red Porsche GT, which was reduced to unrecognizable twisted metal after the tragic crash. The single-car crash happened about 3:30 p.m. on Hercules Street near Constellation Road in the Rye Canyon Business Park, fire officials said.

 

The body of Paul Walker was reportedly so badly burned in the car crash fire that the coroner must hold off on the autopsy, TMZ reports.

 

The L.A. County Coroner can’t identify Paul’s body and needs dental records to complete to process. As a result, the autopsy will be delayed until later in the week.

To pay the homage and to celebrate the 78th birthday of late Robert Moog, the inventor of electronic synthesizer, Google came up with an interactive doodle on Wednesday (May 23).

A real-like working Moog synthesizer on the homepage of search engine giant not only allows the users to create their own music but has use volume, mixer, oscillators, filter and envelope controls as well. 

One can use your mouse or keyboard on the Moog doodle's keys and dials to make nearly limitless sounds. On Wednesday (local time), visitors to Google’s homepage can play with Google’s latest creation using the QWERTY keys of their keyboard and the arrow keys to switch between the mixer, oscillator, filter, and oscillator to squeeze the sound exactly like the real thing. One can even adjust pitch using a dial on the left size of the doodle to further customize the sound.

Robert Arthur 'Bob' Moog, the founder of Moog Music, was born on May 23, 1934 in Queens, New York. He had a strong passion for electronics, and used to consider himself a geeky, socially awkward kid. Bob's father George Moog was an electrical engineer for Con Edison. So, Bob, from an early age, built small radios, amplifiers, three note organs and other such projects in the basement workshop with his father.

Reportedly, she died of congestive heart failure at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she had been hospitalized for about six weeks, publicist Sally Morrison said.

The gorgeous Taylor ruled the silver screen for decades.

MUMBAI - According to sources, King of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan and Hollywood handsome star Leonardo Di Caprio are set to appear in movie, titled 'Xtrme City', which is reportedly a crime thriller based on Mumbai’s underworld.

 The movie is to be directed by Paul Schrader and will be co-produced by Sikelia Productions and SRK’s Red Chillies. Robert De Niro’s 1976 hit movie “Taxi Driver” was also written by Paul Schrader. 

The script of 'Xtrme City' has been co-written by Paul Schrader along with Mushtaq Shiekh, the screenwriter who has on his credit ‘Om Shanti Om’ and ‘Ra.One’. He is also a good friend of Shahrukh Khan. The movie is planned to be shot mostly in Mumbai. According to sources the original idea came into existence when Shahrukh Khan went to Berlin for the promotion of his movie “My Name Is Khan” and Leonardo and Martin Scorsese came for their film ‘Shutter Island’. Mushtaq and Paul have been working on the script for a year now.

London, Feb 19 - Katie Price, glamorous model, unfortunately trapped into a small car collapse as her driver hit a bollard and reportedly smashed a teenager.

According to Mirror online reports, the driver of Katie Price was attempting to evade fans when the silver BMW collided into a bollard the young boy.

The accident took place at the time when Price, the 32-year-old model-turned-reality star, was at the Phoenix Theatre to give hands to her friend Natasha Hamilton in her West End Blood Brothers debut.

The front of her car damaged due to accident and the model kept herself inside the theatre during the police investigations with her driver.

A spokesperson for London Ambulance verified of a young male being shifted to hospital following the incident. The injuries were however not serious as per initial reports.
