US country singer Mindy McCready has been found dead
in her apartment in circumstances which pointing towards an apparent suicide by
the troubled singer. She was just 37.

According to official statement from police deaprtment; McCready's
body was found on the porch of a house in Heber Springs, Arkansas, at 3.58pm
Sunday. She was declared dead at the scene "from what appears to be a
single self-inflicted gunshot wound," the in a statement. Officers
were dispatched to the area after reports of shots being fired.
The troubled singer had attempted to take her own life twice
before and was known to have problems with prescription drugs and alcohol.
Just last month David Wilson, McCready’s boyfriend and the
father of her 9-month-old son Zayne, was found dead on the same porch where
McCready's body was found. His death also was investigated as a suicide.
