Talk about some good advertising. Netflix has partnered with quite a few manufacturers to add their very own Netflix button to TV, Blu-ray, and media streaming device controllers. This spring, a big ole red button with the Netflix logo is going to be plastered on thousands of remotes. Memorex, Panasonic, Samsung, Sharp, Sony, Toshiba, Haier, and Best Buy’s Dynex brand are among the list of manufacturers Netflix has paired with.
Finally there will be a big red button for everyone to push and imagine that they are blowing something up (while really just accessing streaming content). This one-click button is going to make life a lot easier in regards to getting Netflix up and running. Internet connected TV remotes for Boxee, Iomega, and Roku STBs will be given this new big button as well. Tons of people have been asking for a remote like this, and now it’s just going to come standard. How awesome is that?
