Lady Gaga won three awards at the MTV European Music Awards. Lady Gaga won awards for Best Pop, Best Female and Best Song for “Bad Romance.” Lady Gaga was not present at the ceremony, the singer accepted her awards through a telecast from a concert in Budapest.
Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives) hosted the show, at one point wearing a leg of lamb as an outfit in homage to Lady Gaga.
Shakira opened the awards show performing “Loca” and “Waca Waca.”
Following the awarding of Best New Act to Ke$ha, Kings of Leon came out and performed their latest single “Radioactive.”
Other live performances included Katy Perry's “Fireworks,” Linkin Park's “Waiting to the End” and Ke$ha's "Tik Tok."
