John Travolta suffered a loss when their eldest son, Jett, died in January 2009 from a seizure while on vacation in the Bahamas with his family. He was only 16 years old. But now John Travolta, 56, and wife, Kelly Preston, 48, welcomed a baby boy into their family. They named him Benjamin. He weighed 8 lbs 3 oz. and was born on Tuesday at a Florida hospital.
A spokesperson for the Hollywood couple said, “John, Kelly and their daughter Ella Bleu are ecstatic and very happy about the newest member of the family. Both mother and baby are healthy and doing beautifully.”
Preston, who has been married to Travolta since 1991 and has starred in films such as "The Last Song" with Miley Cyrus, announced in May that she was expecting a child. During her pregnancy, the two visited the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, the new theme park based on the fictional teen wizard in Orlando, Florida, and celebrated with a baby shower attended by 40 of their friends.
Travolta is known for films such as "Grease" and "Pulp Fiction" and Preston starred in films such as "The Last Song" with Miley Cyrus and "Jerry Maguire". The pair and their daughter also appeared together in the 2009 movie "Old Dogs" with Robin Williams.
