Bringing the Dead to Life - - Strange World of Unusual Sculptures Created by Angela Rossi

Bringing the dead to life is the philosophy Angela Rossi believes in. The California artist and sculptor uses natural (albeit unusual) taxidermy products and upcycled animal bones to create her own strange world of unusual sculptures. Her one-of-a-kind artwork has a variety of odd materials such as animal bones, snail shells, turtle shells, porcupine quills, bobcat claws and animal teeth.

Although Angela is quite passionate about giving new meaning to the dead and creepy trash, she admits as a kid she always disliked old Victorian taxidermy birds, trophies, skins, horns and carved bones sold by her mother, who was an antiques dealer.
