The year 2010 will forever be known as the time when the world was bear witnessed to the Burj Khalifa tower in Unites Arab Emirates, which is the currently tallest standing building in the world and tops out at an awesome 2,683 feet. The plans for Miapolis are already under way and the owner of the proposed project, Guillermo Socarras is said to be in talks with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to get a approval for the massive height the tower will attain. The Miapolis plans call for the acquisition of Miami’s Jungle Islands, which is one of the major tourist attractions of the city. Mr. Socarras plans to take care of the island’s $39 million loan and debts and then create a fresh new 99 years lease that would permit him to create his dream building, thus providing Miami an addition $4 million worth of revenue each year.
