The WN-2 is a watch modeled on the view of the Northern Hemisphere from orbit. Looking straight down on the watch you’ll see the Northern Hemisphere, its major cities and the Pole all rotating under glass. It’ll take a little work to read the time but you can mark your position on the globe using the position indicator. Made by Japanese non-profit organisation Think The Earth, it’s a reminder of where we are and how we can stuff this whole planet up if we really try. Available from various places, including here for US$799.99.
A small globe under a glass dome, turning slowly, making one revolution per 24 hours, rotating counterclockwise around the North Pole. Our view of the Earth from space.
