Located in the Tommy Hilfiger flagship store in New York is this muti- million dollar floating staircase. It is a truly unique architectural wonder and the only one of its kind in the world.
Hired by Americon Contractors, the floating staircase at the Tommy Hilfiger flagship store was collaborated on by Callison Architecture Inc., as well as a team of industrial designers, mechanical engineers and structural engineers all based out of Toronto Canada.
Designer Adam Shepperdley of Features Walters was the lead designer and project manager. He created the 3D model from which the entire staircase was built.
The floating staircase at the Tommy Hilfiger flagship store took 18 months to complete.
