Some car designers can sometimes really scandalize you with their crazy designs. Sometimes it’s just a little too hard to digest. This time around, it’s Anne Forschner, a 24 year old Pforzheim University graduate’s design that will make you go bonkers. She has come up with her BMW Lovos concept, which comes with two alternative looks. Depending on the need of the time, the car can either look like a frightened porcupine or a svelte salmon.
This is indeed very cool if a car can really have two different looks that too, which you can change anytime you want to. Apparently, the exterior of the Lovos that stands for Lifestyle of Voluntary Simplicity is theoretically constructed from one fully exchangeable part that recurs 260 times. Solar photovoltaic cells cover each exterior piece. It can hinge on a substructure underneath to follow the sun or act as individual airbrakes.
Not much information is available yet regarding the features of the car as it’s only a concept as of now. I somehow do not like the looks of the car. They just do not appeal to the eye and I really do not think there will be many fans for this particular Lovos.
