Some iPhone apps tend to be a little on the useless side, like bacon frying or bum shaving instructions, but now there is an iPhone app that seems to be a little more useful—and it will probably scare you a little, especially if you have kids.
The Offender Locator App tracks sex offenders in your area and provides a map of where they live. If you click on their pin drops on the map, a picture of the sex offender will show up, along with their address, date of birth and list of convictions.
The Offender Locator App uses the iPhone’s built-in GPS to find the registered sex offenders. You can also track sex offenders who live close by to friends and families if their addresses are saved in your iPhone.
