We know it wouldn’t be a trend if only one snake were seen slithering around the streets of New York City. That’s why we waited. And now, three – yes three – snakes have been spotted.
Back in February of this year, two boys were playing in their Brooklyn home when a four-foot boa constrictor slithered out of their couch cushion. I guess they didn’t get the couch at IKEA.
Four months later, a mother of three found a four-foot snake curled underneath the living-room table. It turned out to be a yellow rat snake, which are non-venomous. Thank goodness.
And finally: today at 8:30am, an innocent passerby stumbled upon a four-foot boa constrictor across from Central Park in Harlem.
