One of the most boring things, for most people, at a party is to have to run around getting the perfect shots of everyone having a great time just to be able to prove to snobby friends that you actually can throw a great party. If only you had your own robot photographer, sigh.
Sony may not be the best when it comes to making cameras that an deliver amazing photography, but they still can make this wish of yours come very true. Okay, so, not too true. The Sony Party Shot is a little gadget that will carry your camera over its small shoulders and deliver photos for you automatically. The automatic photographer has a motion detector which allows it to sense when someone is moving and the Smile Shutter technology ensures that all happy moments are captured forever.
Unfortunately, the Party Shot currently works only with the Sony TX1 and WX1 (remember the not-so-great cameras that Sony launched just a couple days ago?), so, this would be a complete waste of your $150 if you didn’t already spend a few hundred dollars more on one of those cameras. Plus, none of these automatc shooters clicks the real stuff, so buy this if you want the most fake photos.
