100,000 viewers who saw Swedish Supermodel Adina Fohlin in an Apoliva commercial were so terrified that they joined the “I am scared of the girl in the Apoliva commercial” (“Jag är rädd för tjejen i Apolivareklamen”) Facebook group, according to ‘The Local: Sweden’s News in English.’
After reading over the whole story, my guess is that the Adina Fohlin Facebook group did so in jest and over one common factor—to them, Fohlin is like the BK King. He creeps a lot of people out, even though we aren’t really, truly frightened by him.Maybe the Swedish folk music and Fohlin’s high-pitched singing is spine-tingling creepy. And perhaps the lighting and gray backdrop during the period of the commercial where it gets a tad dark does make Fohlin’s eyes appear blackened and soulless like a horror movie killer…but terrifying? Nah.
