Hats and headpieces are definitely on the fashion radar these days. Many of the designs we’ve been seeing are grandiose and flamboyant but in these images photographer Steven Sampang shows how to rock a teeny top hat.
In this edgy series called ‘Sia,’ Sampang depicts the tiny top hat-wearing model as a modern-day circus ringmaster, topcoat and tails replaced with a chain embellished black leather jacket. It’s a fantastically current take on the Vaudevillian and Burlesque fashion of wearing small toppers.
