Life for the visually impaired isn’t minus the challenges but humanity and technology work together to make as many things far easier than they really are for these special people. Sang-hoon Lee and Youn-bum Lim are two such designers driven by the force to create something that is clever ad extremely helpful for friends who cannot see. Hence, the Braun Bell Mug was born.
A very smart concept, this cup lets you pour a beverage in it without an overspill or using your finger to check how deep the waters run! Well, it has three sensors that can detect how far the mug has been filled. Yes, the user simply has to choose the level he or she requires for the liquid to be filled in. So when the desired amount is in the mug, an audible alert sound is released so that you can stop pouring.
The Braun Bell Mug literally lets you pour your favorite drink with closed eyes. It is a simple structure in white with the handle having a black coating onto which the liquid limit sensors are installed. There are three sensors of liquil level and the same number of liquid surface sensors and of course, there’s the speaker!
