Asus has added another netbook to their popular Eee PC range with the launch of the Asus Eee PC 1001PX. The Asus Eee PC 1001PX features an Intel Atom 1.66 GHz N450 processor, and 1GB of RAM.
There will be two different versions available, one with a 160GB hard drive which will features Windows XP and one with a 250GB hard drive which will feature Windows 7.
The Windows XP model comes with a battery that is good for five hours, whilst the Windows 7 model comes with a battery that is good for nine hours.
Each model features three USB 2.0 ports, VGA out, 802.11 b/g WiFi, a 0.3 megapixel web camera, 10/100 Ethernet, and a multi format card reader.
The Windows XP model will retail for $326 whilst the Windows 7 model will retail for $406. There are no details on the exact release date as yet.
