Sony Vaio X Weighs Just 655g - - The Lightest of It's class

Sony has introduced a new laptop into the market; known as the Vaio X, this Sony notebook puts an emphasis on portability by being not just light, but rather the lightest laptop available in it’s class today.

The Sony laptop weighs just 655g and comes with a long life lithium ion polymer battery that can go 16 hours before needing to be recharged. If you’re looking for even more battery power, there is also an optional high capacity battery available that offers 20 hours of battery life.

Other features of the notebook include an 11.1-inch display screen, 2GB RAM, Flash solid state drive, Vaio Everywair HSDPA modem and wireless network connectivity (wireless B/G/draft N). Consumers will also have a choice between either an Intel Atom Z550 processor (2GHz) or an Intel Z540 processor (1.86GHz).

The Sony Vaio X will retail this November with pricing still to be announced.
