It never ceases to amaze us just how many times this “simple puzzle” known as the Rubik’s Cube has transformed itself. Just when you think there are no additional modifications possible, someone else put’s their spin on the game cube. Some of the mor e popular puzzle designs include the high tech touchscreen puzzle, and Cube 360.
The stain glass Rubik’s cube is a conceptual design. It is not a physical product, but is a design created with 3DStudio Max 6.0. The budding artist that came up with this idea invested over 21 hours in the design phase and believes that he has a winning design, one that “can beat that of Erno Rubik.”
It’s a cool idea, but if this ever passed the concept phase, it wouldn’t be a kid’s toy considering how fragile it would be and not to mention the cost. It would however make a nice decorative ornament, something like Fine China that you take out only on special occasions.
