The easy way to get rid of car parts is by just throwing them out, but turning rims into sculptures is a different way in which you can make use of your trash. The image here shows auto rim sculptures by an artists in his attempt to avoid having his old car parts end up in a landfill.
Depending on the type of creature you want to create, talent and patience is needed in this project, as you can see how intricate the detailing can get. My favorite has to be the owl with BMW emblem eyes. You could almost make this a DIY craft project for a rainy day.
