The gardens in Las Pozas were built by eccentric Englishman Edward James and can be found in the Mexican jungle at Xilitla. Steps leading to nowhere, arches and holes to peer through, mirrors, and hidden passages are all part of this surreal garden landscaping.
Edward James, a dedicated arts patron, spent over 25 years and millions of pounds turning his 80 acres into the incredible fantasy garden that stands today.
The gardens are attached to a hotel named El Castillo—how lucky are the guests to be able to experience them all year round?
