Lindsay Lohan (aka LiLo) is proving herself a real mean girl with her abnormal behaviour which earned only disrespect and some rehab facility for her. As reported here few days back; 'Mean Girls' star, Lindsay Lohan, was accused of stealing high-end jewellery from Venice Jewelry Store, and police issued a search warrant for her Venice Beach House.
Now reportedly; the Los Angeles District Attorney's office declared yesterday that it intended to charge the LiLo with offence of grand theft in connection with the disappearance of a $2,500 necklace from Venice Jewelry Store. She was scheduled to be prosecuted Wednesday afternoon and if found guilty, she could get anything from probation to a three-year stay as a guest of the state of California.
A surveillance video clearly shows Lindsay Lohan taking the (purportedly stolen) necklace from the store. After police began looking into the case after getting a search warrant, mysterious friend of LiLo took the necklace to the Pacific Division police station.
Although Lohan's lawyer denies she did anything wrong; but it seems that LiLo problems will not end up with this case only as Tanning Vegas, a tanning company run by Lorit Simon, is ready to sue Lohan for $40,000 on account of unpaid services by the actress during 2007 and 2009.
