Bollywood’s superstar actresses Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif were raided by of Indian Income Tax department due to a likely tax evasion. 

 The early morning raids on Monday were headed by the wing of Income Tax department and 12 locations were searched out for the evidence of the possible tax evasion.  

 The department began the searches after information that the two actors had not paid tax in proportionate to their actual income. "The exact amount of tax evasion would be known in the evening after we scrutinise the documents and bank records," a senior I-T officer said, requesting anonymity because he is not authorised to speak to the media.
