Opera Mobile 10.1 Browser Released by Opera - - Available for Smartphones Based on Symbian^3 And Symbian S60 3rd And 5th Editions

Opera has now released its latest Opera Mobile 10.1 browser available for Symbian/Series 60 phones. The new release brings a Javascript update that significantly increase the browsing speed on Symbian devices, using just-in-time compilation (JIT) performance optimisation to the Carakan JavaScript engine.

This technology is the same as that used in Opera desktop browser versions and early test of the new Opera Mobile 10.1 browser show results that are nine times faster than the pervious mobile version of the Opera browser.

Other features in the new release include support for geolocation, Speed Dial, tabbed browsing, Opera Link and password manager.

Opera Mobile 10.1 is available for smartphones based on Symbian^3, and Symbian S60 3rd and 5th editions.
