Japan itself has such a great car industry, including sports and luxury cars that the people here probably do not feel the need to import cars such a Ferrari’s from abroad. Plus the taxation on imported vehicles is also very high here, thus becoming a turn off for those interested. But then, a Ferrari is a Ferrari and Japan still remains an important market for the Ferrari brand.
Cornes & Co. is one of the most prominent importers of the luxury sports car, and has been in business for the past 30years! This company has established a formidable name for itself when it comes to selling Ferraris in Japan, and are popular also because of their occasional but very good special edition offers. Their latest offer is for the Ferrari California. It is limited to just ten pieces, out of which, three will be in red, three in black, and the rest four in white.
The Ferrari California features carbon fiber rocker panels, door handles, and specially made fuel cap, wheels, and break callipers. The price is obviously quite high at ¥26,500,000, which is equivalent to about $320,000, or about ¥3 million ($36,000) over the standard model.
