Eco-conscious artists always try to come up with ingenious creations either from waste materials or other sustainable materials that not many believe could be the raw materials for something brilliant. Artist Patrick Dougherty is one such person who creates amazing sculptures from sticks.
Created entirely using locally sourced materials and local volunteer labor, the Stick Sculptures are made by bending, molding and weaving long saplings. The striking sculptures are made big enough so that visitors can walk through them or the sculptures can act as wrapping nests that flow over the building.
