"Vu Plus": TV Capable Mobile Internet Device Launched by AT&T and LG - - A 3 Inch Touch Screen And a Slide Out Four Line QWERTY Keyboard

AT&T and LG have launched a new TV Capable mobile Internet device today called the Vu Plus. The new MID device has been created to compliment AT&T’s high speed packet access 7.2 mbps technology which is offer improved speeds compared to the current 3G standard.

The Vu Plus TV capable device allows you to watch full length shows and browse the web with personal customization options to show local news and weather, together with other browser specific options.

The new LG Vu Plus has a 3 inch touch screen and a slide out four line QWERTY keyboard in landscape mode. Its camera is 3 mega pixels which has auto focus and video recording with a 50mb on board memory for storage. The Vu Plus comes with AT&T Navigator ($9.99 extra per month) and Social Net software apps already loaded.

The elegant LG Vu Plus will be available at AT&T retail stores beginning June 6 for $149.99 with a $50 mail-in rebate.
