The Mercedes Ball Concept is what I picture the average car to look like in about 25 years. Sometimes I wish I had a crystal ball, so that I could look a decade or two into the future and see where the technology of transportation will be at. Design and innovation in this field seem to be moving on a compounding curve, meaning each year it is becoming that much more sophisticated than the year prior.
The subtle, downplayed aesthetics of the Mercedes Ball Concept will likely become commonplace very soon, as large SUVs and extravagant vehicles are already on the way out. Function over fashion will surely be the creed of transportation in the future.
