Supermodel Gisele Bundchen and her husband Tom Brady have finally started building their dream home in Los Angeles - two years after purchasing the plot of land.
The American footballer paid a reported $11 million (£6.9 million) for a prime place in L.A. in August 2008, with plans to construct a house so he can be closer to John, aka Jack, his two-year-old son with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.
But the couple, which is based in Boston, Massachusetts where Brady plays for the New England Patriots, has only recently begun construction work on the plot.
And Bundchen can’t wait to spend more time with her stepson, admitting she’s revelling in being a mum of two after giving birth to baby Benjamin, her first child with Brady, in December (09).
The Brazilian beauty tells Vogue magazine, “I’m so lucky to have my little munchkin, and I have two because I also have John.
“We don’t see him all the time, unfortunately, but we’re building a place in Los Angeles to be closer to him.”
But Bundchen’s latest comments could spark a fresh rift with Moynahan - the runway stunner caused controversy last year (09) when she admitted she loved Brady’s older son like her own.
She said, “I love him the same way as if he were mine. I already feel like he’s my son, from the first day. When we are in L.A. (Los Angeles), we have Johnny 50 per cent of the time… I understand that he has a mum, and I respect that. But to me, it’s not like because somebody else delivered him, that’s not my child - I feel it is, 100 per cent.”
