Lotus has finally revealed its new Evora 414E hybrid concept car, which will be showcased at the Geneva Motor Show. The vehicle cranks out 414hp and an amazing 590 lb-ft of torque using its two electric motors for propulsion. The two motors, one for each wheel, also feature torque vectoring to improve handling.
The extended range EV is equipped with a lithium-ion battery pack that is good for 35 miles, after which the onboard 47hp monoblock three-cylinder gasoline engine starts to recharge the batteries. The car stores electrical power in a 17KWh battery and also comes with a HALOsonic vehicle sound generator that alerts the pedestrians.
