Apple is Working to Introduce Multitasking Featues Through Apple iPhone 4.0 Operating System

Apple Inc. is currently working on the Apple iPhone 4.0 operating system and the talk of the town is that, Apple could in fact introduce multitasking features with the new update, a feature that has long been demanded by the iPhone users. With the help of multitasking support, iPhones will now be able to run several third-party applications in the background, a feat that till now was kept out of the reach of the iPhone users.

According to numerous credible sources, Apple Inc. has designed and developed a “full on solution” to the multitasking demand for the iPhone. However, there are no further details available on the 4.0 OS update. Taking into consideration, Apple’s long standing highly secretive nature, it could turn out that, more details could be known at the time of the launch of the Apple 4.0 OS update, that will be released sometime in the latter half of this year.

There has been a certain amount of controversy on the unavailability of multitasking, especially in the case of third party applications. The bundled applications that came with the Apple iPhone 2.0 OS such as, SMS, email, iPod, voice recorder etc. well completely compatible with the multitasking feature,, but when it came to third party apps, taken from the Apple Apps Store, the phone’s security apparatus prohibited the running of such applications in the background.
