"Elmoto HR2" - - Ultra Light Electric Motor Bike Not Only Eco Friendly But Also Cost-Effective

One of the most attractive features of electric transport is its inherent simplicity. Electric bikes especially, just don’t have to be complicated, the only requirement is the regular battery charging.

Elmoto have taken this philosophy and built the Elmoto HR2, a light, electric motor bike that will zip you around a busy town effortlessly. It was designed in Germany to make use of specific laws so it’s limited in a few ways. It’s top speed is 45km/h (30 mph) and it only weighs 45kg so you won’t be hitting the highway on it. It does have sports suspension and disc brakes and with a high speed charger you can recharge the 25Ah battery to 80% in 2 hours. Elmoto also claim that you can recharge the battery for about €0.70. Sources around the web seem to think the bike will cost around €3340 or US$4,400.

Your journey to work, visiting friends, or simply cruising through the city – whatever you want is now emission free, cost-efficient and linked to a clear conscience for protecting the environment. And the showstopper: A full charge of the battery only costs around 70 cents (50 pence) and lasts for up to 70km (45 miles).
