We have seen a few applications for the iPhone that are designed to monitor and record data whilst you are cycling, the latest one is called Pedal Brain and it will consist of an iPhone App, plus a mounting for you bike that lets your iPhone communicate with ANT+ wireless devices.
So basically if you have a wireless cycling computer on your bike, the Pedal Brain iPhone app will be able to communicate with your existing sensors.
The Pedal Brain application will record data and also show you your current performance in real time on your iPhone screen, and you will also be able to upload the collected data to the Internet for a detailed analysis.
The Pedal Brain iPhone App and hardware accessory will be available in March and it will cost between $130 and $190, on top of that you will have to pay a subscription fee, there are no details as yet on how much the subscription will cost.
