Austrian architects Coop Himmelb(l)AU have won a competition to design the European Central Bank in Frankfurt, Germany. The bank’s new headquarters will be a massive, double tower design, in which construction for it will begin in spring 2010.



Coop Himmelb(l)AU’s vision for the European Central Bank is an impressive one, as you can see from the gallery photos. This astounding structure will be 185 meters tall with a multi-sided, light-reflecting design and east-west orientation.
