While most architects are envisioning futuristic structure that with the addition of nature-based materials are termed green, a home in rural Portugal makes us believe that nature itself has everything in it to be used as your next green home.
Obviously the house doesn’t look flashy in any sense, but the choice of materials will definitely make a few heads turn. The sustainable house is bordered by two boulders that are filled in with smaller stones to finish the job. The windows, furniture and stairs are made from locally sourced wood.
