Fashionising.com spotted several style-savvy gals—and guy—donning the latest denim direction: patched jeans. Fashion is hard—and expensive—to keep up with; one minute ripped denim is the craze, the next it’s patched jeans (which were born sometime in the sixties, by the way). The truest of the true fashionteers probably opt for expensive, pre-patched jeans, but for the recessionistas like myself who actually have to keep their purse strings tightened, sewing patches over ripped jeans is a more economical solution.
