Artistic Work With Matches - - Tower Bridge Matchstick Replica Using 1.6 Million Matches

Extreme hobbies continue to grow. The latest is the matchstick replica of London’s Tower Bridge. It took the artist, Michael Williams, ten years of working every evening to finish the six foot long model. He estimates it took 1.6 million matchsticks. It’s for sale to finance, the proceeds of which will go towards his next secret project.

"The replica has two household bulbs lighting up the two towers and an illuminated 52 gun galleon underneath. It is lit up with long-life LED bulbs which last for 100,000 hours."
