Designed to be powered by a hybrid petrol/electric engine, the Hyundai ix-Metro will be a must-watch car if the concept ever meets realism. Created by Hyundai’s Global Design Team in South Korea, the car carries a 1.0 liter three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine coupled with an electric motor.
The power is relayed to the wheels with a six-speed dual clutch transmission and the electric motor. The hybrid drivetrain reduces emissions, and the creators believe that the vehicle will have a carbon emission rating of just 80gm/km.
