Rihac make a range of Continuous Ink Supply Systems (CISS) for inkjet printers. CISS isn’t just another method of refilling inkjet cartridges, it’s a high capacity ink supply system that does away with those expensive tiny cartridges. Rihac make a range of systems and you can find ones to fit all the mid to high end printers made by Epson, HP, Canon and Brother. Rihac also claim that their ink is made by the same companies that manufacture ink for the printer companies so the quality is identical. All the different ink formulations are available, including dye inks and they’re all filtered so you won’t damage your printheads.
CISS stands for ‘Continuous Ink Supply System’. A CISS is used instead of standard inkjet cartridges. Simply explained the CISS is a self contained unit with its own cartridges fed by tubing from a large ink reservoir which sits beside your printer. The system acts like a giant cartridge by feeding ink to the printer when required and can save up to 95% over the cost of using cartridges.
