TOUCHNOTE T1028 FROM GIGABYTE -- A CLASSY GAGDET TO HAVE

Way way back when tablet PCs are still at its infancy, Bill Gates said that touch screen laptops such as tablet PCs would be the computer of the future. However, tablet PCs are quite expensive than conventional notebooks so it really didn’t caught on. Now that the netbook bubble is growing faster than a 9 year old, tablet form netbooks also came about and the T1028 from GIGABYTE is one of them.

The TouchNote T1028 hopes to ride on with the netbook revolution with its flashy specs and classy design along with its screen tilt feature. On the outside, this netbook has a very elegant gold like finish. The 10.1″ 1366×768 is really gorgeous that gives bright, crisp and clear images as compared to regular 10″ netbook screens with just 1024×600 resolution. Opening the screen will expose the almost full keyboard (92%) that would make typing a little bit easier for those who have large hands. Under the hood is an Intel Atom N280 1.66GHz processor, 1Gb of Random Access Memory (RAM), and 160GB of hard drive space. The usual stuffs for netbooks are also covered such as wifi b/g, mic, 2x 1.5watt speakers, card reader, and a 1.3megapixel web cam. This baby is equipped with a 6-cell battery allowing users to do their stuff for 6.5 hours before needing a charge again.

The different thing here is the built in HSDPA capability to allow internet access whenever you go in places where any sort of internet connectivity is really unavailable.
