When it comes to water boats, most of us are only interested in the horsepower the boat carries and the maximum speed it hits. And then there are the design conscious who only care about how sleek the model and perhaps also whether the boat is right for the elite denizens.
This time around, the visitors to the Sur Expo Industry show were treated to something better than great designs and promises of speed thrills. Tigé is launching a touch interface for its water boats and showed off the inboard system at the show. The inboard system uses proprietary Tigé software with which the user would be able to control engine and speed functions. Titled TigéTouch, the user would be able to adjust size of the wake using TAPS2 positioning, control ballast settings and more.
Tigé Boats would be using the TigéTouch for two of its models, Tigé RZ and Vé. TigéTouch would also have iPod interface functionality. Of course, unless you have the dough for a Tigé Boat, you needn’t worry about how cool a touch display would be in your speedboat.
