Samsung’s new mobile phone is the green phone known as the M560 Reclaim. It’s a green phone not because of the color, but rather because it is ecofriendly, made from 80% recycled material.
Priced at $50 and available through Walmart this September, who by the way has some great deals throughout the summer, the Reclaim includes a slide out QWERTY keyboard, a 2 megapixel digital camera, a micro-SD card slot with 512MB memory, GPS and Bluetooth technology.
It would have been nice if this eco phone was solar charged, but that is not to be. Samsung does indicate however that the new battery charger included with this phone is 12 times more energy efficient then what is required under the EPA’s Energy Star program.
