One of the most recently introduced compact digital cameras by AgfaPhoto is the Optima 1, which has a 12-megapixel sensor and can capture pictures at 1080p full resolution (1,080 lines of vertical resolution with progressive scan).
Users can choose between 28 different functions listed as part of the internal program including face, smile and blink recognition. The camera also features a 5x optical wide-angle zoom with focal length of 28-140mm, 4x digital zoom and a 2.7-inch LCD screen that, obviously, can be used to frame or browse photos and videos.
In addition, users can also record voice memos associated with each picture and use a “beauty mode” with two advantages: it fixes skin imperfections and adds a soft, nice tone to the faces in the pictures. The camera will be available in titanium color, only.
Another thing to keep in mind is the light sensitivity is limited to the ISO 3200 standard.
The AgfaPhoto Optima 1 camera will be available for sale in September and will cost about US$254.
