These Gucci and Mark Ronson sneakers are the result of a collaboration between the luxury fashion brand and the DJ, artist and producer. They were created just in time to appear in the Gucci pop-up store in New York City; the store will also have some face time in London, Berlin, Paris, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Art Basel Miami.
Mark Ronson commented, "I spent many many years as an avid sneaker collector, so I wanted to make sure these Gucci shoes were truly special, both from an aesthetic point of view and a collectable one. Frida and I also agreed it was important for there to be a unique musical element to the project, so I’m going to be collaborating with artists, making limited edition tracks for each store opening”.
