The megalopolis of the future needs futuristic cars, which are compact, green and fast. Industrial designers have been striving hard to occupy the requirements in a compact package to make it suit the environment perfectly. Auto designer Fabio Ferrante has perfected the requirements in a concept car he calls the Mantide.
The car has been aimed towards the Peugeot brand, runs on four wheels and can seat three. Inspired by the Praying Mantis, the car is designed to run on a zero-emission engine which can be powered by hydrogen fuel cells. The vehicle will carry independent motors on all 4 wheels, which will give it the ability to tackle harsh terrain.
