If you have a few extra pounds you’d like to shed, the Webcycle by Matt Gray and Tom Scott is for you. The Webcycle essentially draws a correlation between the speed a user is pedaling on a stationary bike and the speed of their Internet when a laptop is connected.
You won’t need to pedal too hard on the Webcycle to read a website full of text, but a YouTube video will require significantly more effort. And the music video of Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up?” Get ready to pedal like a madman.
