Convertible-Heel Shoes Designed by Sophie Cox - - Flexible Enough to Suit Your Mood

From ravishing divas to the demure damsels next door, high heels are what women dread, despite getting to enjoy all attention in the world when they wear them. The damage they cause to feet is often over-looked in a world obsessed with tailor-made looks. Having to carry more pairs of footwear if that great looks event is later in the day is a bane too.

Keeping just those pained feet and the dread of having to dip them in extremely warm water after the big event, an Australian design student has designed what could prove a functional alternative to the existing stilt shoes. Something that should have been a common sense design, but that has prompted student Sophie Cox to apply her mind, this one is touted to compete against big brands.

The design’s strength is its simplicity as much as its flexibility. Her design for a stylish pair of shoes can easily be converted from a seven centimeter heel to a three centimeters heel depending on the situation. So much for detachable heels!

This design could turn out to be the woman’s best friend.
