Classic and Timeless Collection for Men and Women by Pendleton

Pendleton offers a variety of clothes for men and women, as well as a beautiful home and blankets collection. Today we’ll show you some of their pieces, which are mostly classic, timeless clothes.

For women, the casual clothes include navy inspired outfits, with white and dark blue stripes, floral prints, pants and button up shirts. You will also find safari-like pieces, with brown and beige tones, trench coats with two rows of buttons, pretty scarves tied around the neck.
The pencil skirts, straight pants, shirt-jackets are great casual pieces for day wear. There is also a line for the working woman, with more elegant clothes, that are perfect for the office. Navy is a very good choice, as it is less boring than the classic black. You’ll also find deux-pieces and blazers in pastels (baby blue, blush), mostly made of tweed; simple dresses and cardigans, worn with discreet necklaces, make good outfits for the office as well.
The shoes at Pendleton are very colorful, and can make any outfit look more joyful. We especially like their flats (ballerinas or moccasins) and their lace-up rubber boots, all of which can be purchased in a variety of colors.
The recommendation for men is to try the grunge/ranch style, with plaid shirts, denim jackets, ethnic prints and hoodies. These create casual outfits that are great for the weekend and leisure time.

Shopbop Bring to You Acne, Alexander Wang, Opening Ceremony, By Marlene Birger, Sergio Rossi, Alberta Feretti, Tory Burch at One Place

Shopbop is an online platform that gathers together such brands and designers like: Acne, Alexander Wang, Opening Ceremony, By Marlene Birger, Sergio Rossi, Alberta Feretti, Tory Burch and so many others. We browsed the website for you and selected some of the most interesting seasonal finds.

The cold weather accessories are quite a must. You can pick your favorites according to you climate: fur hats or knitted hoods, mittens or driving leather gloves, wool or silk scarves, and so on. They will keep you warm and stylish.

Heels are the most popular shoes with the designers, and it is obvious why: they change the look of every outfit, they make any legs look longer, they are the representation of sexy and elegant at the same time. Studs and leopard will rock your outfit, while wedges will make you more comfortable. Booties are the best length, as they keep you warm but show off your legs as well.

For the parties that are round the corner, a clutch is the perfect choice. It will only carry your essentials: wallet, cell phone, keys, lipstick. You don’t need to take other stuff with you at a party, so your hands and arms won’t hurt from carrying useless things in a large handbag. You will also feel free to dance!

So much for the accessory talk! You will need a cute dress to match that clutch and those booties. You can pick a black and white classic combo, but don’t be afraid of bright colors: fuchsia or green as just as elegant and even more fun. For the evening, allow yourself to be spoiled and wear lace! It guarantees a sensual, unforgettable look!

If you want, you can tell us about your party look for this Christmas and New Year.

Olsenboye: From Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen - - A Travel-inspired Line With Tremendous Sense of Style

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are famous for their tremendous sense of style, which made them create their own line. Olsenboye is a travel-inspired line, sold exclusively at JC Penney.

Since the major theme of the brand is traveling, it is no wonder that cities from around the world can be found throughout the collection, in various shapes and interpretations. This season, London is the journey that fashionistas take, at least when it comes to what they’re wearing! We have graphic tees with the British flag and double-deckers, as well as punk-inspired items: red and black plaid is used for handbags, skirts and tops. This results in an edgy, rock look, but with a soft side.

There are cute dresses to choose from, which can be styled casually or for parties, depending on the accessories. Speaking of which, the line comes with comfortable shoes, like flat boots, but also with must-have heels: you want to be comfy while traveling, but you want to look your best once you get to your destination. The bags are large, cross body, so that they can carry a lot of stuff and be easily carried. The foldover bag has the advantage of taking two shapes: large tote or smaller handbag. And for keeping you warm, striped cardigans or fleece hoodies are the solution.

Baseball tees are sweetened with cute girly illustrations, while heels and small purses are toughened with studs. Olsenboye manages to bring together the extremes. A nice recurrent motif is the piece sign, in the brand’s logo as well as though the collection.

French designer Lanvin Teamed up With “loves H&M” For More Accessable Collection for Fashion Lovers - - Photoshoot Featuring Romanian Model Irina Lazareanu

We love it when prestigious designers “come down” from the runway and join up with one of the more accessible brands for a collection. This only happens from time to time, which makes it even more exciting for fashion lovers of the world. This winter, French designer Lanvin decided that he “loves H&M”, and so, one of the most important collaborations of the year was born. As a bonus, Romanian model Irina Lazareanu is the face of the ad campaign.

H&M is known for their affordable prices and pretty clothes. Double that and you have the “Lanvin loves H&M” collection. Party dresses are head of the list. These come in neon colors (fuchsia, bright yellow, red, electric blue) and the classic black. Most of them have ruffled details, especially at the neckline; some are asymmetrical, with one shoulder only, some have bright flowery prints, but any of them can make you look fabulous for the holidays. Silky textures and tulle are the options when it comes to fabrics.

The line also brings trendy, double breasted coats, in animal print or fur, ruffled skirts and tees with tulle applications. These look playful, ballerina-like, but can be accessorized into looking chic and edgy.

For men, the line consists of sports jackets, jersey pants, shirts and cardigans, as well as animal inspired t-shirts. The shoes in the collection, in bright colors, have laces for men and cute bows (and heels!) for women. Jewelry is also colorful, playful, with floral motifs. Some unisex accessories, like ties and bowties, come in fuchsia, purple and cute polka dots.

Winter 2011 Collection: Something Precious From Stella McCartney - - Great Outfits For Christmas or New Year Parties For Sophisticated Women

“I really wanted to create something precious”, says Stella McCartney when talking about her garments. The designer begins from this statement whenever creating a new line and, as you will see, this is also the case with the Winter 2011 collection.

Her clothes  are targeted towards sophisticated women. Each piece looks gorgeous and the lookbook, although based on simple, basic combos, is amazing. The tones are usually neuter, like black, gray, camel and light browns. But nothing makes a statement quite as a red item, so Stella McCartney brings us elegant mini dresses, coats and tops in this color. Since winter is the holiday season, some pieces have a festive look, brought in by the sparkly textures. All of these make great outfits for Christmas or New Year parties.

The brand encourages an eco attitude and is against animal cruelty. To support this idea, Stella McCartney shows us how to look good without harming any animals for fur and skin: animal prints (leopard and snake are especially present), faux-fur and cute horse graphic tees. The outerwear is not made of wool, but of synthetic fabrics, and it looks nonetheless fabulous.

Another thing to note in this collection is the peplum shape for tops. This geometric line creates an interesting figure, and it looks good with fitted bottoms. Speaking of which, Stella McCartney has pants for all tastes: skinny, motorcycle style jeans, trousers with comfy side pockets, jersey pants, long, straight dress pants, cropped and so on.

When it comes to shoes, the winter looks are well put together with pointy heels in black and nude. The nude ones are particularly flattering, since they make the leg look longer than it is. The catalog also shows booties and  boots, both heeled and flat, with studs and buckles.
