Unlike the Vintage mobile cinema bus we introduced last time, the one that we are going to introduce to you isn’t just a cinema on the wheels but it’s the world’s smallest solar powered cinema. Dubbed the Sol Cinema, it’s one-of-its kind micro cinema powered by four large lithium-ion batteries getting vital energy juice from 120W solar panels.
The micro movie house is built on a converted caravan by a charity called Undercurrents and has a seating capacity for eight adults or twelve children. The small movie house on the wheels use LED projector to show the nostalgic promotional films of Thanet from the 1920s to 1970s as well as Thanet-made films and short animations, with the intentions to inspire people to make films about environmental issues.
