The Consumer Electronics Show 2010 (CES) has been taken as a launch platform for Microvision to unveil its latest product, SHOWWX, which is a laser pico projector. This product is the latest in a long line of light scanning device offered by Microvision.
The SHOWWX laser pico projector has even been given the prestigious title of 2010 CES Innovations Honoree as the device provides exceptional picture quality and even being small in size, it depicts clear images. The SHOWWX Laser Pico Projector has been designed and developed especially for mobile devices, such as mobile phones, Apple iPod, laptops etc, and can run a host of multimedia files such as movies, photos, presentations etc.
This latest gadget from Microvision incorporates the latest in the microelectromechanical systems scanning mirror devised by Microvision and lasers and thus provides great performance and high depiction quality than that of the more conventional pico projectors. The SHOWWZ Laser Pico projector provides 848 X 480 pixels WGA high quality image that can be delivered onto just about any surface.
According to Ian Brown (VP, Sales & Marketing, Microvision),
“Interest and demand for this product is very strong and we’re excited to have the SHOWWX as our center piece at CES. “We have created a unique and engaging presentation for attendees which is sure to drive awareness of the product’s key features and benefits.
